&lt;p&gt;Although I first discovered &lt;a href=&#34;https://micro.blog/pluralistic@mamot.fr&#34;&gt;@pluralistic@mamot.fr&lt;/a&gt; through his more recent novels (and the Fediverse), I can understand why so many people consider this book, one of his best. I absolutely loved it —truly great storytelling.&lt;/p&gt;
